Wesley Hall Community Centre is deeply honoured to have been named City Charity of the Year at the VAL Awards 2025, proudly sponsored by Springfields Advisory LLP.

This recognition from Voluntary Action LeicesterShire (VAL) is a milestone that celebrates not only our organisation but the people and partnerships that make Wesley Hall what it is: a welcoming space where the community comes together to learn, grow and support one another.
It reflects the hard work and heart of our staff team, volunteers, trustees, partners and supporters, whose dedication and compassion continue to drive everything we do.
Being recognised among so many incredible charities across Leicester is both humbling and inspiring. This award strengthens our commitment to continue delivering vital services, creating opportunities and empowering local people to thrive.
Our Thanks
We extend our heartfelt appreciation to:
Voluntary Action LeicesterShire (VAL) - for championing the voluntary and community sector and for its continued leadership.
Kevin Allen-Khimani, Trace Voss and the VAL team - for delivering such an inspiring event celebrating local impact.
Springfields Advisory LLP - for sponsoring the City Charity of the Year award and recognising the value of grassroots community work.
Hastings Direct - for supporting the celebration of community spirit across Leicester and Leicestershire.
And most importantly, the communities we serve, your trust, resilience and inspiration are at the heart of everything we do.
This award is not an endpoint but a powerful motivation to continue our mission. We remain committed to working collaboratively, creatively, and with purpose to build a stronger, more connected community for all. Thank you for being part of our journey.
