Cadent Gas Partners with Wesley Hall to Help Local Families

In December, we were delighted to partner with Cadent Gas to bring some much-needed support to families in our community. Thanks to their thoughtful and practical donation of slow cookers, many households in Leicester now have a valuable tool to help them save money and prepare warm, nourishing meals during these challenging times.

The rising cost of living has left many families struggling to balance household expenses and energy costs are a significant burden. Slow cookers are not only an energy-efficient way to prepare meals but they also make it easier to cook delicious, nutritious food without the stress of high electricity bills. With just a few simple ingredients, families can create hearty meals that bring comfort and warmth to their homes.

But we didn’t stop at distributing slow cookers! To make the most of this initiative, we also shared a selection of easy-to-follow recipes tailored for slow cooking. These recipes help families create healthy dishes while reducing food waste and stretching their budgets further. From flavourful stews to creative vegetable dishes, the recipes have been a hit among our community members.
