Leicester’s textile industry is home to thousands of workers, many of whom face challenging conditions and low wages.
The Garment and Textiles Workers Trust project at Wesley Hall aims to uplift and empower vulnerable workers, particularly women from South Asian backgrounds, who work in this industry.
Our initiative provides confidence-building workshops, skills training and support services to help garment workers improve their quality of life, advocate for their rights and connect with valuable resources.

Many participants are women on low incomes or benefits, and through this project, we help them gain the skills and confidence needed to build a better future for themselves and their families.
Get Involved or Join: Whether you’re a garment worker seeking support or someone who wants to contribute to this important cause, we welcome your involvement.
Your donations, time or expertise could make a significant difference in the lives of those who work tirelessly behind the scenes.
