This month, we held an important meeting with our staff, trustees and volunteers to discuss the future of Wesley Hall. The session focused on long-term sustainability and how we can continue delivering vital services to the community while supporting the people who make it all happen.

We talked about the challenges ahead and shared ideas on how to keep our work going, from managing rising costs to ensuring our services meet the changing needs of local people. Everyone had the opportunity to contribute and raise what they felt was working well and what we could improve.
A big part of the meeting was recognising our volunteers. Last year, 67 people gave their time to support Wesley Hall. They helped in the food pantry, supported activities at our day centre and youth club, assisted with events and offered practical help behind the scenes. Their dedication continues to be a key part of how we run.
We also took time to thank our staff and trustees, many of whom take on extra responsibilities to keep our services running smoothly. From answering urgent calls to helping families with complex needs, their work often goes beyond regular job roles.
As we move forward, we’re looking at new ways to strengthen our team and grow our impact, but we can’t do it without the continued support of local people. If you’d like to get involved as a volunteer, partner or supporter, we’d love to hear from you.
